A retiree returned to his hometown and bought a piece of land to build a house, with the intention of peacefully growing old there. His son enlisted the services of a renowned Feng Shui master to assess the location of the land.
On the way, whenever he encountered someone who wanted to overtake him, he always chose to yield the right of way, saying, "They seem to be in a hurry; I'll let them pass."
When they arrived in the small town, they saw a child running out of an alley. The driver stopped the car and waited until it was certain that there was no one else in the alley before restarting the car.
Back at his home, they saw a few children stealing peaches from the tree in front of his door.
He parked the car and asked the master to wait for a moment. He waited for the children to fill their hands with peaches and leave before taking the master inside.
The master was very surprised, but the gentleman explained with a smile, "These children were stealing peaches from the tree. If we suddenly entered and they realized the owner was back, they would have been very scared. If we enter now, we will probably scare them, and it would be easy for them to fall from the tree. The peaches are not worth much. If the children fall, it won't be good."
After a moment of silence, the master said, "You can take me back now. There's no need to check the Feng Shui of this place."
The old man's son was a bit perplexed and asked the master, "We've come all this way; why do you want to leave without even taking a look? Is there something wrong with our location?"
The master replied, "The place where you live is already blessed by Feng Shui. Your father has a son like you, so he must be a blessed person."
If you are a blessed person, the place where you live will also be blessed. Even if the place where you live is not originally blessed, if you stay there for a long time, it will become blessed.
The main element in Feng Shui is the human itself. The human heart is the most important thing in Feng Shui. Many people know that Feng Shui can nurture people, but they do not understand that people can also nurture Feng Shui.
True good Feng Shui is cultivated by oneself. If a person has a good heart and is respectful to their parents, then their Feng Shui will also be good.
